The Deaf Socceroos
Senior National Team
The Deaf Socceroos are Australia's national men's deaf football program, representing the country in international deaf football competitions sanctioned by the Deaflympics International Football Association (DIFA). The team competes in DIFA World Cups, Deaflympics, and bilateral fixtures against deaf national associations from around the world.
Players are selected through a national selection process overseen by DFA. To be eligible, players must have a qualifying hearing loss and be Australian citizens or permanent residents.
The program focuses on developing technical excellence, tactical awareness, and team cohesion — building a squad capable of competing at the highest international level.
